Indoor Soccer Coordinator
  • Employment Dates:
    December 15, 2008 through March 5, 2009
    Number of hours in December will depend on registration numbers
  • Salary:   $1800-$2400 (depending on league sizes)
  • Description: Interested in hiring an energetic and enthusiastic indoor youth soccer coordinator to manage and oversee youth indoor programs consisting of 6-7, 8-9, 10-12 year olds divisions and competitive programs for 12-14 year olds and high school age divisions.  USSF license and/or, NSCAA certifications and/or UEFA equivalents preferred.  Experience with youth and/or youth programs, coaching experience and/or administration preferred.  Possess a personality that is comfortable in any situation when dealing with parents, players and coaches. 

    Responsibilities include: player evaluations, formations of teams, recruitment of players and coaches, scheduling of games, run weekly soccer clinics for the 6-7 age group that teach technical soccer fundamentals coupled with a small sided games, organize and manage the end of the season tournament schedules, serve as a liaison between coaches and parents and the league and club, recruit volunteers to run the scoreboard, knowledge of the indoor rules, hire referees, track and submit referee pay to the office, step in to referee if necessary, distribute and collect end of the season evaluations from spectator and coaches, establish a nurturing, fun relationship with children.
